Broward PACE Program goes beyond providing medical services.
Our mission is more than health care – it is about helping seniors feel supported, valued, and at home.
Our holiday celebration was made a little brighter with a visit from a very popular guest: Max, our beloved mascot and service dog. Max spent quality time with participants, offering playful moments, gentle companionship, and enthusiasm that brought smiles to everyone he encountered. Staff members have observed meaningful positive changes following Max’s visits, including improved moods, increased engagement, and stronger social connections among participants.
In addition to these uplifting visits, participants stay active and socially engaged through our popular walking club. Meeting weekly, the group focuses on improving mobility and cardiovascular health while enjoying the company of their peers. “Our walking club is something participants truly look forward to,” shared Denilson Morey, Activity and Day Center Coordinator. “They’re eager to get up, walk around the center, and spend time socializing with one another. It’s been wonderful to see how much they enjoy staying active together.”
