In a series of educational outreach events, Senior Community Outreach Specialist Andrea Ferreira introduced the new Broward PACE Program to seniors and professionals. During presentations at the Dixie Court Apartments and through the Guardianship Program at St. Thomas University, attendees enjoyed breakfast and lunch while learning about the comprehensive support PACE offers. Andrea explained how the program provides coordinated medical care, transportation, and social services, all designed to help older adults continue to live safely and independently in their own homes.
These events served as a vital introduction for many who were learning about Broward PACE Program for the first time and were pleased to know this resource is now available in their community. “These activities are an opportunity to connect directly with the community and let families and professionals know that Broward PACE Program is here as a new resource for all seniors in Broward County,” said Andrea Ferreira.
